Also known as 'redbush', rooibos (pronounced roy-boss) grows in the stony shrubland of the Cederberg Mountains. Its fibrous branches and leaves are harvested each year and shredded into small needle-like particles which are then dampened and oxidised in vast yards under the intense South African sun, until they turn a rich, rusty-red colour. Combined with the rich, luxurious sweetness of vanilla, this tea provides an indulgent, soothing cup.  The brew from the pretty red leaves is full of antioxidants and Vitamin C but contains no caffeine, making it a soothing, healthy drink for children and adults alike
