In the tea world, tea leaf grading is the process of evaluating tea based on the quality and condition of the tea leaves themselves. The highest grades for Western and South Asian teas are referred to as ‘orange pekoe’.
Established in 2006 by Marianna Hadjigeorgiou, we have spent over 17 years sourcing the highest grade of hand-picked large-leaf tea varieties from around the world, bringing them back to our London tearoom and to our online shop, where we offer the finest loose-leaf teas in their purest form.
From our beautiful English Breakfast to our rare Silver Monkey, as well as our collection of exclusive in-house blends, we are confident that you will find the perfect tea for any mood or moment within our extensive tea collection.

Our renowned tearoom is situated in beautiful Barnes; a picturesque, riverside London village on the upper reaches of the Thames. The ambience inside encompasses the spirit of tea. There is always a trained tea sommelier on hand who can guide you on your tea journey, and we encourage you to explore our handsome tea caddies, smell our unique teas and admire their beautiful leaves.
In addition to our teas, we offer bountiful brunches, freshly made lunches and of course, our famous Afternoon Tea.
From when Time Out declared us ‘London’s Best Tearoom’ to when Tatler listed us as one of ‘The Best Afternoon Teas in London’, we proudly continue to enjoy international recognition for our Afternoon Tea offering, and our renowned tea collection.
